More than 200 years of tradition
The Hanseatische Zuckerraffinerie was created by the merger of three Hamburg sugar refineries in 1965, the oldest founded in 1801.
Hellmi - both a synonym for the Hanseatische Zuckerraffinerie and brand name, is today a medium-sized company with a powerful product range.
Sugar - made-to-measure - the concept by which a reliable team produces and distributes invert sugar syrups, mixed syrups, sugar solutions, glucose syrups and caramels. The special strength lies in the production and filling of small containers from 5 kg. With its own brands "Golden Rocks" and "Wibine", Hellmi successfully sells traditional products such as raw cane sugar, invert sugar cream and candy in the usual trading markets.
